Well, anything, actually, but here are a few tips that made my life easier in the rural.
At the Hospital
I think the best decision I ever made was to get hospital scrubs stitched. I had them in different colors with a few spare white T-shirts, which I would pair with colored pants. Yes, semi-Steve Jobs style; I liked the idea of different colored wear because I would know which one to wash and feel a sense of freshness. Getting scrubs is extremely useful since you will have to wash your clothes for the majority of the setting. Washing machine? I haven't heard of one in any hospital for doctor use. We do have hospital office assistants, but I found it weird to ask them to do my chores. So yes, every Saturday would be clean the room and wash your clothes day! But washing clothes just on Saturdays gets really overwhelming at times - when you have to sometimes wash your bedsheets and everyday wear and casual wear and whatnot, I figured out the easiest thing to do is wash a few clothes during a shower. Saves you your Saturday - trust me!
Indoors
I still follow the semi-Steve Jobs style in my room. I pair each clothes, sometimes matching 😆. The majority of the time was summer at my workplace, so I got myself a few knee-length shorts and cotton shirts. I didn't find it awkward to wear those. A lot of people in rural wear shorts these days. I wouldn't say the same about really short shorts. And girls, get that maxi wears! They are heaven-sent during those s*** hot summers.
Outdoors
I went around wearing pants and shirts. Carried a few kurthis with me - it was really helpful when I got invited to formal programs.
